The Surefire 660 Classic Universal System Weaponlight is designed to mount directly to the barrel of a Colt CAR 15/16, Commando 9mm SMG & M4 Carbine with 12"-16" barrels. The SureFire 660 Tactical Flashlight is intended to allow adding the tactical advantage of a Surefire light to weapons that have not been outfitted with any rail-type systems.
